Affiliate Program Terms

Version 1.1 · Last updated: September 28, 2026

These Affiliate Program Terms (the "Program Terms") govern participation in the Trust affiliate/referral program (the "Program") and are incorporated into the Terms of Service. Enrollment is subject to approval; the Program is free to join, there is no paid affiliate tier.

1. Enrollment & Tracking

Approved affiliates receive tracked links. Commissions, rates, attribution windows, and payment schedules are as published in your Program dashboard or enrollment communication (the "Commission Schedule"), which we may update prospectively with notice. Attribution requires functioning tracking; self-referrals, cookie-stuffing, forced clicks, and toolbar/injection traffic are prohibited and void attribution.

2. FTC Compliance (Mandatory)

You must clearly and conspicuously disclose your material connection to Trust before or immediately adjacent to each affiliate link or endorsement, in plain language (for example: "I may earn a commission if you sign up through my link"), on every channel including social media and video, consistent with 16 CFR Part 255. Buried, below-the-fold, or link-only ("#ad in a sea of tags") disclosures are not sufficient.

3. Prohibited Conduct

No earnings claims or income representations of any kind; no guarantees of business results; no fabricated reviews or testimonials; no spam (you must comply with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, and equivalent laws, no cold email or messaging on our behalf without our prior written approval); no bidding on our trademarks or confusingly similar terms in paid search; no representing yourself as Trust or as our employee or agent; no promotion adjacent to unlawful, deceptive, or brand-unsafe content; no incentivized signups without our written approval.

4. License & Brand Use

We grant a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use approved Trust marks and creatives solely to promote the Service per our brand guidelines. All goodwill inures to us. We may require changes to or removal of any content using our marks.

5. Payment, Clawback, Audit

Commissions accrue only on qualified, non-fraudulent, non-refunded conversions and are payable per the Commission Schedule once any minimum threshold is met. We may withhold, reverse, or claw back commissions arising from fraud, policy violations, refunds, or tracking errors, and may audit traffic quality. Taxes on your commissions are your responsibility; you are an independent contractor, not our employee, agent, or partner.

6. Term & Termination

Either party may terminate participation at any time. We may terminate immediately for violation of Sections 2–3, with forfeiture of unpaid commissions arising from the violating activity. Sections 2–5, 7–10, and the Terms of Service's dispute-resolution provisions survive.

7. Confidentiality

Non-public information we share with you through the Program — including your individual commission terms, dashboard data, unreleased features, fraud-detection signals, and compliance communications — is confidential. Use it only to take part in the Program; share it only with your own employees, contractors, lawyers, and accountants who need it and are bound to keep it confidential; and delete it within 30 days after you leave the Program, except records you must keep by law or for a pending audit, clawback, or dispute. If the law requires you to disclose it, tell us first where lawful. You may use it as reasonably needed to enforce your rights under these terms. Nothing here limits any immunity under 18 U.S.C. § 1833(b) for confidentially reporting a suspected violation of law to a government official or an attorney, or your right to report possible violations of law to any government agency without notice to us. These duties last for three years after you leave the Program.

8. Personal Data and Our Systems

We never give you our users' personal data, and you may not submit anyone's personal data into our systems. For any personal data you collect through your own channels, you are solely responsible for lawful notice and consent, opt-outs, and security. You may not reverse-engineer, scrape, or probe our dashboard, tracking, or links; use bots or other non-genuine means to generate clicks or sign-ups (traffic a third party sends without your involvement is not your violation, but earns no commission); or share your login. Tell us at team@trust.events within 24 hours of any unauthorized access to your account; you are not responsible for acts after that notice, or acts caused by a compromise of our systems.

9. Where Your Disclosure Goes

Minimum placement, in addition to Section 2. A "promotion" is any content that endorses or mentions Trust or contains your link. Video: said and shown in the video, before the first mention — a description-only disclosure is not enough. Short-form video and Stories: on-screen text on each frame that promotes us, plus the platform's paid-partnership label, plus spoken if there is voice. Captions: in the first line, before any "more" cut. Short posts: "Ad" or "Sponsored" at the start. Livestreams: a persistent on-screen disclosure while promoting, and spoken at least every 15 minutes. Podcasts: spoken before each promotion and in the episode notes. Pages, blogs, email: above the first link, visible without scrolling. Link-in-bio pages and messages: right next to the link. Anything of value you received (free access, credits, gifts) must be disclosed too. Every disclosure must be unavoidable, easy to understand, and not contradicted by other content (16 CFR § 255.0(f)).

10. Electronic Records; Interpretation

You agree to receive these terms, notices, and records electronically, and that electronic acceptance has the same effect as a signature. You may request a paper copy at no charge at team@trust.events; withdrawing this consent ends your participation. Tax forms are delivered electronically only with your separate consent; otherwise we send them on paper. Headings are for convenience only, "including" means "including without limitation," and these terms will not be read against either party as drafter.
